writingdave said: The Adams quote is definitely along the lines of what I was looking for. Thanks! If you think of any others, let me know!

You’re welcome!  I just Googled “teacher makes a difference” quotes, and those were in the first link that popped up.  :)

a moment of silence for all the fanfiction lost to the ravages of time, unsalvageable even by the wayback machine, condemned to its final resting place in the deactivated archives of fansites for now-syndicated television shows

Oh my God, this chapter is endless but SO MUCH happens…

this video saved my life

Okay, obvs FOX News isn’t in my regular programming, but this video is amazing. XD. What an idiot, lol!

That is not Fox news, that’s local news programming from what looks like the Philadelphia Fox affiliate.

Fox News and Fox TV affiliates are completely different entities.  Mr. TFMH works for a Fox TV station, and they haven’t even been owned by Fox Broadcasting in several years.  They were sold a while back to a small broadcasting company (less than 20 stations), and they’re now owned by Tribune.

Sorry to be pedantic, but it’s one of the assumptions about his job (especially since he directs the morning news) that drives him nuts. :)

Anonymous said: So, I know you're probably busy with all the ficlets you need to write for CP, Control, and Blood Red; but I was wondering if you're already - oh I don't know - brainstorming for your next WIP? Haha I've finished reading all three, and suffice to say: I love each and every story. I will reread CP and Control again and again (and again) till I get sick of it (never!). So I hope you forgive my being high strung, haha. Keep writing, Cordelia! You're the cooliest. (Drake & Josh reference heh)

Thank you very much! Yes, I have been thinking about it a lot lately, though don’t get too excited yet - it will be months before I start publishing a new WIP. At the very least, I want to get caught up on my ficlets and have Blood Red prepped for publication, and maybe also Control.

I get bored when I focus on only one thing, though (I was working on other stories the whole time I was publishing my first three), so I’ve been brainstorming and outlining my next WIP. I’ve decided to go with the contemporary fantasy I’ve mentioned on here before, the one with the anti-heroic protagonist who is blackmailed by his country’s intelligence agency into spying on his husband.

In fact, I had been considering making a post about this to put out a call for help, so I might as well do that now! I’m looking for anyone who is in finance or law enforcement who would be willing and able to discuss money laundering with me. I’ve been researching, but I need advice from people who actually know what they’re talking about to see if what I’m planning makes sense. There won’t be any spoilers; the money laundering scheme isn’t meant to be a mystery and is known to the protagonist early in the story. Any takers?

Can any of my followers help?

Due to a little too much fun partying with my troupe ladies last night, I both failed to finish chapter 9 of Gravity and totally forgot to watch The Walking Dead.  Will have to rectify both of those things today!

I’m up to 7445 words and am on the last scene of this chapter.  I’m pretty sure I’m going to be able to finish it today!  I feel terrible for making everyone wait so long for an update, but at least they’ll get a nice meaty chapter.  :)
